My parents took Robb and I to an Island off the coast of Venezuala in the Dutch ABC Islands. We went to Island C. It was lots of fun, Robb and my dad got super sun burned on their backs and had a fun time snorkling each day. Here are some of our pictures

This is one of our most recent exciting adventures! This house is in Lehi and it was cool. I liked it the best. Robb thinks that posting about it is weird. He thinks I should get a job.

So, My first year of teaching is finally done and I will definitely miss those cute kids and their strange albeit hilarious comments. A couple of my favorite this year include, "L 7 WIENIE!", "This is my pet snake, (a hand that is used for a snake) look! It likes you." and of course, "Miss Mook, Sophia looked at my butt and said, ew." Pictures of Graduation day to come...

Spanish Fork Peak, Crowd Ridge

This is the summit! We couldn't see a thing. We were exhausted, cold, and pumped.

This is Crowd Ridge. Robb and I woke up at 5:30am to drive down to Spanish Fork. First we parked at a lot and carpooled in a 4WD car up to the trailhead. Once we got started we hiked up until it was time for us to put our Snow shoes on. These were special snowshoes that had an ascent helper so we could walk uphill. The first part of the snowshoeing was great, easy, a slight incline. THEN it got technical. This mountain had at least 4 false summits and it was extremely steep. About half way up it started to get really windy, and then the snow started to blow with the wind. It was intense. When we got to the last false summit it was a complete whiteout. We had some food, and water and started to descend. Overall, it was a great trip. Lots of work! I was so sore the next 3 days I could barely walk.

Christmas in Kennewick

This Christmas we went to Kennewick where Robb is from and spent time with his family. We did lots of fun things and ate lots of tasty food.


New Year's Eve the grandkids acted out the nativity. It was pretty good. Very animated. I think Sleeping Beauty was Baby Jesus. It was fun to see the nativity, and reminded us why we celebrated Christmas.
